I spent many years sharing my work on social media. Over time, I found it increasingly difficult to separate talking about change from actually creating it. Mainstream platforms have fundamentally shifted how value is measured, often prioritizing a digital footprint over actual progress and change in physical systems.
That realization played a large role in my decision to unplug, resulting in the creation of this Microbes Vibes page.
My focus moving forward is to completely separate from the online noise and focus exclusively on work in the field. This means dedicating my full attention to researching, teaching, and working face-to-face with communities.
At the same time, I’ve been fortunate to build relationships with people all over the world who are interested in this work. I still want to share what I'm doing with you, and this site exists simply to make it available to anyone who finds it useful.
That’s also why I’ve chosen to host this space through an open, non-profit framework like Codeberg. Beyond data sovereignty, their servers run entirely on certified, carbon-neutral green energy. It is an infrastructure that aligns directly with the choices I want to make in my work: transparency, physical resource accountability, and independence from corporate ecosystems.
